...seems !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! went for a part Range Rover, part Subaru Forester, part Kia Sorento kinda look, while giving it a more butch look reminiscent of Explorers of the past.

The 2016 looks a lot better than the current model but I still prefer the squared off look of the 2010 that I have.

I was fairly disappointed with the current explorer, it just lost its truck look. this i guess regains a little of that. I'm still not all that impressed. 2/3 cars i've owed were explorers, '95 and a '04 Sport Trac

I agree, the new ones just look too fat and bloated to me. I'd like to see them do a modern interpretation of the original to give it a little more rugged look.

Exactly. That's why I like my 2010. They used all the space. They even did what Nissan did with the XTerra and added little storage holes around the rear wheel well's on the inside for extra storage room. I love when someone makes use of the space they have, not cover it up to give it a sleek look.

I really like this compared to the current design. Though it wish it would go back to its roots as a BOF truck with RWD-based 4WD.
